Job Overview:
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials. You will ensure that all operations adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure 100% accuracy in the warehouse management system.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Schedule, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture.
- Coordinate with logistics and shipping departments to resolve delivery issues and optimize routes.
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Prepare weekly reports on productivity, staff performance, and inventory variance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) and willingness to obtain additional certifications.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Valid driver's license required.
