Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews, scheduling shifts, and providing ongoing training.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to minimize workplace incidents.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing teams to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Optimize workflow processes to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and maximize productivity.
- Prepare daily reports and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
- Handle escalations and resolve personnel or operational issues promptly to maintain workflow continuity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.
- Valid forklift certification and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
