Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distribution of goods.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Enforce strict safety standards and compliance with OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock rotations to minimize shrinkage and waste.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Conduct regular safety audits and equipment inspections.
- Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Valid Forklift Certification (required) and ability to operate warehouse machinery.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in inventory management software.
