Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and ship products to meet customer orders and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by organizing stock and removing debris.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in compliance with all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Documentation: Process paperwork and digital logs associated with shipments and inventory movements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor in a fast-paced setting.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus and ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory counts.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be available for shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
