Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control procedures and implement lean warehousing practices
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Monitor productivity metrics and implement improvement strategies
- Conduct daily warehouse inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Manage inventory systems and reconcile discrepancies
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in climate-controlled warehouse
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
