Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping processes
- Manage team of 10+ warehouse associates with performance metrics and training
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient logistics flow
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Generate performance reports and operational improvement plans
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in cold-chain or industrial environments
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong leadership skills with conflict resolution expertise
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery operation experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic knowledge of Alaskan logistics regulations
