Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance
- Optimize inventory management systems, including cycle counts and stock rotation
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless loading/unloading operations
- Train and develop staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Conduct daily inspections of warehouse equipment and facilities
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
- Generate daily/weekly productivity reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic math and computer literacy skills
