Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Supervise and mentor 10-15 team members to ensure optimal productivity and safety standards
- Implement inventory control procedures using WMS systems to maintain accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient order fulfillment and dock scheduling
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Optimize workflow processes to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Handle escalated customer inquiries regarding order status and logistics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- OSHA certification and thorough knowledge of safety regulations
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Strong leadership abilities with proven team development track record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to operational detail
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred for diverse team communication
