Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff including hiring, scheduling, and performance management
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain DOT/FDA compliance records
- Optimize inventory control systems (WMS experience required)
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with transportation and quality teams
- Conduct daily cycle counts and manage $2M+ inventory value
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (5S/Lean methodologies)
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and escalate critical issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in cold chain or logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Proficiency in WMS (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- Strong knowledge of FDA/USDA food safety standards
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in -10°F environments
- Valid Alaska driver's license and clean MVR
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field (or equivalent experience)
