Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse associates, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols
- Optimize receiving, storage, and shipping processes for maximum efficiency
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless logistics operations
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance
- Prepare performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, scanners) and company procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Forklift certification required (valid within 6 months)
- Experience with inventory management systems and cycle counting
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environment
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
