Responsibilities
- Manage 15-20 warehouse staff through scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee inventory control systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain accident-free operations
- Optimize workflow processes to meet daily/weekly productivity targets
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving departments for seamless logistics execution
- Utilize WMS software to track inventory and generate operational reports
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure operational readiness
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in fast-paced environments
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 hour training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in union/non-union settings
