Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on all machinery to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Verify inventory accuracy and document loads accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
