Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a zero-accident environment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and prevent shrinkage.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transit times.
- Train new staff on equipment usage and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare performance reports and handle personnel issues according to company policy.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification is mandatory.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
