Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in receiving, storage, and distribution.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and teamwork.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and enforce OSHA compliance to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Manage inventory levels, coordinate stock transfers, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
- Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Handle scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll preparation for the warehouse team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or operations management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Valid Forklift Certification and ability to operate various warehouse equipment.
- Proven track record of leading teams and improving operational efficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
