Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing OSHA compliance and conducting regular safety audits.
- Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize storage.
- Collaborate with management to streamline processes and improve overall operational performance.
- Manage payroll and schedule assignments for the warehouse team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred; however, we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
