Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and mentor 5-8 team members on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Coordinate with weekday supervisors for seamless workflow transitions
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize space utilization and accessibility
- Implement lean principles to reduce waste and improve productivity
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Prepare shift reports documenting productivity, incidents, and inventory variances
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/supervisory experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS experience a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
