Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and scan orders using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems
- Operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks after certification
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through systematic cycle counting and reconciliation processes
- Adhere to strict safety protocols while handling merchandise and operating machinery
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow during peak shipping seasons
- Perform quality checks on products before packaging and shipping
- Utilize Amazon's proprietary technology systems for real-time order tracking
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through team feedback
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new technology systems
- Strong attention to detail with organizational skills
- Valid driver's license preferred for equipment operation training
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions (refrigerated/freezer sections)
