Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort, scan, and pack customer orders using Amazon-provided scanners and packing stations
- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts (with certification), and conveyor systems
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using handheld scanners and digital tracking systems
- Ensure workplace safety compliance with Amazon's PPE protocols and equipment guidelines
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to meet daily productivity targets
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for using scanning and inventory systems
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain training
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts
