Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain forklifts daily, reporting any maintenance needs immediately
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while operating warehouse machinery
- Manage inventory counts and documentation with precision using WMS systems
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow during weekend operations
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas to ensure operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse settings
- Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays with occasional weekday overtime
