Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting any malfunctions immediately
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflows
- Manage inventory documentation and system entries accurately
- Assist with general warehouse housekeeping and organization
- Support cross-functional teams during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina forklift certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexible availability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and occasional holidays
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
