Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and complete all required maintenance logs.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper labeling of stock.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
- Secure cargo properly on trailers to ensure safe transport.
- Assist in training new warehouse staff on forklift safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification Required: Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (Must provide proof).
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
- Flexibility to work overtime during peak seasons.
