Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper handling of goods.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on all forklift equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain accurate logs of inventory movement and document any discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Clean work areas and assist in maintaining a tidy, organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus but not strictly required for standard operations).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday shifts).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well within a team.
- Basic computer literacy for logging tasks.
