Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within 500,000 sq ft warehouse
- Execute precise loading/unloading of trailers using electric pallet jacks and reach trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory counts via WMS system during weekend cycles
- Conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections per OSHA standards
- Collaborate with weekend team to achieve 99.8% order accuracy targets
- Adhere to all DOT and warehouse safety protocols
- Support weekend cross-training in inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid Texas forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 1+ years warehouse/forklift experience in high-volume environments
- OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work 8-hour weekend shifts
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- WMS system familiarity (Oracle/JDE a plus)
- Reliable transportation and weekend availability
- Background check and drug screen required
