As a key member of our logistics team, you will ensure the efficient flow of inventory, maintain a safe warehouse, and contribute to our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload trailers and trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory to meet daily production targets.
- Equipment Operation: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and ensure all safety guards are in place.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by stacking products correctly.
- Damage Control: Identify and report damaged inventory or equipment immediately.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including load tags and inventory logs, with 100% accuracy.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must possess a current, unexpired Forklift Operator License (OSHA compliant).
- Weekend Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety warnings.
