Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load and unload shipments accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo for transport.
- Manage inventory by verifying quantities and logging stock movements into the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict 5S safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads and shift supervisors to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues immediately to ensure operational safety.
- Handle hazardous materials (if applicable) following all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Possession of a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Availability: Must be available to work Weekend Shifts (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a logistics or warehousing setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse climate.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to count, sort, and inspect materials with high accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team coordination.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
