Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate logs of stock movements.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in organizing pallets and maintaining proper storage locations.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (CDL not required but preferred for some roles).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
