Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers and pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor and maintain accurate temperature logs for all storage zones to ensure compliance with FDA and HACCP standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and organize stock to maximize space efficiency.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in training new hires on proper lifting techniques and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work in a cold environment (temperatures between 32°F and 40°F).
- Basic math skills for scanning and inventory management.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation and a consistent attendance record.
