Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer storage areas
- Inspect and organize inventory using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) protocols
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in compliance with safety standards
- Sanitize equipment and facilities following HACCP guidelines
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards promptly
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math and inventory record-keeping skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
