Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Accurately document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA and company standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Train new team members on proper equipment operation and safety protocols
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift experience in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
