Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow and safety compliance
- Implement inventory control systems using WMS software to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments via truck and rail, meeting 99% on-time delivery targets
- Conduct daily safety audits and OSHA training to maintain zero-accident record
- Optimize space utilization and implement lean practices to reduce operational costs by 10%
- Manage performance metrics including order fulfillment rates and labor productivity
- Resolve operational escalations and collaborate with logistics vendors
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution centers
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation expertise
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong analytical skills for inventory optimization and KPI tracking
- Proven leadership in union/non-union environments with conflict resolution abilities
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in climate-controlled warehouse setting
