Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities post-2025
- Produce quarterly trend analysis reports on AI, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Establish KPIs for measuring organizational readiness for 2026 technological inflection points
- Present future scenarios to investors and board members
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and scenario planning
Qualifications
- PhD in Future Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial roadmaps
- Expertise in AI ethics, exponential technologies, and sustainable design
- Published thought leadership on post-2025 technology impacts
- Advanced certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/R preferred)
- Experience with virtual prototyping tools (Unity/Unreal Engine)
