Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and geopolitical trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop multi-year strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership whitepapers and present trend forecasts to industry stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into tangible product roadmaps
- Establish global networks with futurist communities and academic research institutions
- Quantify market risks/opportunities using predictive analytics and trend correlation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or corporate innovation
- Proven track record of developing actionable future scenarios that influenced business strategy
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Published thought leader in futurism or innovation (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Global perspective with experience in cross-cultural trend analysis
