Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast 2026 industry disruptions
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 5-year technological horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future-proof product architectures
- Build stakeholder partnerships with Silicon Valley research labs and academic institutions
- Author visionary whitepapers on technology's societal impact by 2026
- Mentor R&D teams in implementing exponential technology frameworks
- Secure patents for proprietary future-facing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (demonstrated via published work)
- Expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong portfolio of implemented innovation initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
