Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for next-gen AI systems (AGI, quantum neural networks)
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for autonomous systems deployed in critical infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional working groups to align technical roadmaps with ethical guidelines
- Author position papers and contribute to international AI policy forums for 2026 standards
- Design real-time ethical monitoring systems for deployed AI using blockchain verification
- Mentor junior researchers in applied ethics methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years applied AI ethics experience
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, emerging 2026 standards)
- Proven track record of bias mitigation in large-scale ML deployments
- Published work on AI alignment or existential risk mitigation strategies
- Fluency in Python and ethical auditing tools (e.g., IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Experience testifying before congressional or international tech ethics committees
