Responsibilities
- Design next-gen AI architectures for 2026-scale challenges (autonomous systems, climate modeling, personalized medicine)
- Lead a 12-person research team in developing quantum-AI hybrid frameworks
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into production-ready solutions
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants and publish top-tier papers at NeurIPS/ICML
- Establish ethical AI governance frameworks for 2026 deployment standards
- Present findings to C-suite and industry consortiums (World Economic Forum, IEEE)
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/AI with 5+ years industry R&D experience
- Published ≥15 papers in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
- Expertise in transformer architectures, quantum computing, and neuromorphic systems
- Proven track record of scaling ML systems to 10B+ parameter models
- Experience securing $3M+ in research funding (NSF, DARPA, or equivalent)
- Strong background in AI ethics and regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Preferred: Background in biotech or climate modeling applications
