Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort, scan, and package customer orders using handheld scanners
- Operate powered industrial equipment (PIT) safely and responsibly
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and adhere to 5S standards
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards promptly
- Support inventory control through cycle counting and stock rotation
- Adhere strictly to Amazon's safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours in a climate-controlled environment
- Basic math skills and comfort with handheld technology
- Valid government-issued photo ID and work authorization
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull 70 lbs
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior warehouse experience required - paid training provided
