Responsibilities
- Sort, pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet delivery targets.
- Load and unload merchandise from trailers, pallets, and conveyors.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and stand-up forklifts, in compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety guidelines and reporting hazards.
- Utilize handheld scanners and computer systems to track inventory and update shipment statuses.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 49 pounds frequently.
- Ability to stand, walk, and maneuver in various positions for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld devices or scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions if applicable.
