Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ innovation roadmap that aligns with the company's long-term business objectives.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor global technological, economic, and sociological trends to identify disruptive opportunities and potential threats.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee the Emerging Technology Lab, directing pilot programs for AI, Quantum Computing, and Biotechnology.
- Scenario Planning: Lead workshops and modeling exercises to prepare the organization for multiple future scenarios.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Communicate complex future concepts to stakeholders in a compelling, digestible manner to drive buy-in.
- Partnership Development: Forge strategic alliances with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry leaders to stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Education: Advanced degree (Masterβs or PhD) in a relevant field such as Technology Management, Futures Studies, Business Administration, or Computer Science.
- Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in executive leadership, strategy consulting, or R&D management.
- Visionary Thinking: Proven track record of successfully predicting and capitalizing on major technological shifts.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into clear, persuasive narratives for diverse audiences.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive innovation culture.
- Network: Strong professional network within the global innovation and tech ecosystem.
