Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in confined cold storage spaces
- Execute inventory management using WMS systems with 99% accuracy
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and FDA food safety standards
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
- Implement OSHA safety protocols in sub-zero environments
Qualifications
- 2+ years cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in -20°F environments for 4+ hours
- Basic WMS system proficiency (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail in inventory control
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and climb ladders
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
