Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement FIFO rotation protocols in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration systems with OSHA compliance
- Inspect and pack perishable goods for shipment with temperature monitoring
- Adhere to HACCP safety standards for food-grade cold storage facilities
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient dock scheduling and loading/unloading
- Perform routine sanitation and equipment maintenance checks
- Train on new warehouse technologies and process improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in sub-zero environments
- Forklift certification or proven equipment operation skills
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management aptitude
- Basic computer literacy for warehouse management systems
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends during peak seasons
