Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity in cold storage zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts and stock rotation using WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Perform sanitation and pest control procedures per FDA standards
- Operate temperature monitoring equipment and log data hourly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
