Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move refrigerated products (-10°F to 45°F zones)
- Monitor and document warehouse temperature/humidity levels hourly
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality and compliance
- Maintain organized storage of perishable goods using FIFO methods
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate automated inventory management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero refrigerated environments (4-8 hours/day)
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Flexibility for rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
