Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated zones
- Inspect and document product integrity/quality standards
- Coordinate inventory management using WMS systems
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety protocols
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks
- Train new hires on cold storage procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage/warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
- Experience with WMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
