Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated storage zones using digital monitoring systems
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load/unload temperature-sensitive products
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality compliance and documentation
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in cold environments
- Rotate inventory using FIFO methods to minimize spoilage
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in 32°F-38°F environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation to early morning/late night shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (company-provided)
- Attention to detail and quality control standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with proper techniques
