Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated goods safely and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in -10°F to 40°F zones
- Inspect products for quality compliance and document inventory using WMS systems
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP) and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment when certified
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory accuracy in real-time
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and OSHA guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
