Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated storage units
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in cold environments
Inspect and record inventory using warehouse management systems - Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation protocols
- Load/unload temperature-controlled shipments safely
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
- Collaborate with team to meet daily operational targets
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation to Brooklyn facility
- Ability to work flexible shifts (including weekends)
