Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Train, mentor, and manage 10-15 warehouse staff to maintain productivity standards
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all operations
- Optimize inventory control systems to reduce shrinkage and improve accuracy
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless inbound/outbound logistics
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate issues as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a temperature-controlled environment
- Basic knowledge of lean principles and process optimization
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
