Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in temperature-controlled environments
- Inspect, sort, and inventory refrigerated products with precision
- Maintain strict sanitation protocols for FDA-compliant facilities
- Load/unload trucks using proper cold chain handling techniques
- Monitor warehouse temperature and humidity levels hourly
- Complete inventory reports using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards in refrigerated conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in 35°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic math and inventory counting skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
