Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Inspect and organize inventory with strict adherence to FIFO protocols
- Operate temperature monitoring systems and document environmental logs
- Sanitize storage areas and equipment following HACCP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient inventory rotation
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or refrigerated warehouse operations
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic knowledge of HACCP food safety principles
- Valid driver's license with clean record
