Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and manage inventory in -10°F to 0°F environments
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to organize frozen goods in multi-temperature zones
- Conduct daily quality checks on perishable products using digital tracking systems
- Maintain strict sanitation standards including PPE protocols and equipment sanitation
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow during peak shipping/receiving hours
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs using warehouse management software
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and order accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper lifting techniques
- Forklift certification or willingness to complete company training
